In Summer 2020, I worked at Poolmoojil, an independent liberal arts bookstore located in Hyehwa, Seoul. Established in 1985, Poolmoojil used to serve as a centripetal force for student protest during the 80s. Now, It aims to become a central hub for diverse minority rights activism and social movements in South Korea, such as feminism, animal rights, and labor rights.

At Poolmoojil, my main task was to curate books. I primarily focused on books that intertwine philosophy with technology, mainly artificial intelligence. Besides curation, I organized and participated in annual book meetings. We discussed ecofeminism, climate crisis, and philosophy.
